I love these stamps from Stampendous!
Autumn Words (R149) and Kitty Candy Kiddo (P175), they are perfect for a not so scary Halloween card.
I started by stamping the background with Brilliance Graphite Black and embossing with detail clear. Then, I sponged the edges with Brilliance Starlight Black (love that color, it maybe a new favorite of mine). Next lightly spray the entire background with Shimmer Pewter and set aside to dry.
Stamp Kitty Candy Kiddo with Memento Tuxedo Black and color with Copic markers. Pour a small amount of Shimmer Frost into a paint pallet and using a small paintbrush apply to select areas (You've seen me do this before). Cut out and set aside to finish the background.
We're going to sponge lots of colors, just little bits here and there...Brilliance Pearlescent Lime, Brilliance Pearlescent Orange, Brilliance Pearlescent Olive, VersaFine Imperial Purple and VersaFine Habanero. Trim to 3-3/4" X 5" and round the corners; highlight with words with a white gel pen. Layer to black panel (4" X 5-1/4") with rounded corners and attach to A-2
Purple Card.
Mount Kitty Candy Kiddo to background using form tape! Enjoy!!!
Speaking of enjoy, last week I was so excited to meet Jean Norris in Hammond, Louisiana for lunch. Jean is the owner of Sir Stamps A Lot in Homewood, Alabama. She has recently relocated her store...back to the original location on Oxmoor Road. I think that Jean is probably one of the last rubber stamp stores left in Alabama - go see her and tell her you hear about her here.
Thank you for stopping by to see me...
